These days, everyone is thinking about their impact on the environment. People use fewer plastic bags. They turn off the lights. They recycle.
Now there’s a product that helps drivers become aware of the toxic exhaust produced by their vehicles. The Monoxitube attaches to the exhaust pipe of your car or truck, and the other end points towards yourself. With the Monoxitube, you can face your exhaust (so others don’t have to).
Gain a New Perspective
The Monoxitube takes the carbon monoxide and soot you normally send towards pedestrians, bicyclists, and other motorists and directs it towards you. It helps you:
* learn what it’s like for pedestrians to stand by your car as you drive by;
* get to know how bicyclists feel as they pedal while deeply inhaling carbon monoxide;
* step into the world of people waiting at bus stops filled with benzene fumes from idling vehicles;
* notice the soot breathed in by kids in strollers, eye-level with truck tail pipes.
You may not completely remember these experiences — since carbon monoxide will destroy your memory — but you’ll have a faint idea.
Continuous Benefits
You control the beneifts. The more you drive, the more you’ll send carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, soot, benzene, formaldehyde, and polycyclic hydrocarbons into the monoxitube. And those chemicals will give you cancer, asthma, pulmonary and respiratory distress, and cardiovascular disease!
Pays for Itself
The Monoxitube pays for itself in less than a week, and sometimes in less than an hour! You’ll drive less (or never drive), which means spending less on gas, car maintenance, and car insurance.
Every time you idle or press on the gas pedal, you’ll be the first to know how much car exhaust you’re producing. Most drivers report they drive much less and rarely have the car idle.
Get One Today
Buy the Monoxitube today and gain a new perspective on driving gas-powered vehicles. Introduce yourself to the colorless, odorless poison streaming out of your tailpipe. Face your exhaust.

The monoxitube was already invented in 2008 in France and known as “Filtre à particules”:

Wince. *Bad* taste. Bad, Bad, taste.
This is now an old joke for a few, an unavoidable tasteless memory for those who have experienced a suicide (attempt) by carbon monoxide and yet still an important lesson for all operators of combustion engine vehicles. The video is rather well done, if a bit long, but nice that it is multi-cultural.
Unfortunately it is also a promotion for electric vehicles, in the genre of oversimplification which also has people target SUVs but ignore other vehicles which are way more numerous.
